b. Yes, sir this is not the 1st time I come here. This is the second time I come here, last time I think that it was my 1st time so that I was a little bit nervous. But today I am different, I changed because that today I have full effort to be a cabin crew of your company. 5.  Tell me about your hobbies?

Yes, sir. My hobby is listening and watching movies in English because I think that English is really important for me and I need to know how to communicate properly with other people in English and that the reason why I try my best to improve my English in my free time. And today I think that with my English skills, I will be suitable to become a cabin crew of your company.

6.  Tell me about your hometown? What is special about your hometown? How do you come back to your hometown?

Yes, sir. I feel really lucky when I was born and living in HCMC, one of the biggest city in Vietnam. And it is a lucky chance for me because there are a lot of people living and working over here. It a chance for me to work with other people to know more about them and especially to know more other people from their different cultures. And more than that, I’m a young and dynamic person that the reason why living in this city is suitable for me, sir !

7.  Tell me about your family? Who do you like in your family?

Thank you, sir. My family has three people: my father, my mother, and me. A lot of people tell me that I look like my mother, but actually, my characteristics look like my father’s. He is the person who always tries his best to archive his goals, and that is the reason why I always want to archive my goal to be a flight attendant. And I have been trying a lot of things, like losing weight, and improving my English skills. And with my confidence, I hope that I can achieve my goal. 8.  Can you describe yourself in 2 adjective? Tell me 2 adjective that can best describe you?

Yes. sir. Two adjectives can describe best for my-self, 1st of all is friendly. I’m a person that always try my best to smile with other people, and when other people smile back to me, I feel really comfortable. And the second thing is energetic, I’m the person who have full of energy, I can work from the morning until the evening without feeling tired. I can not only keep energy for my-self but also that can transfer that kind of energy for my co-worker. I hope that my team-work will be really great and help other people to give the best services to our customers in the future, sir !

9. Have you ever had a difficult conversation with a customer? What did you do?

Yes. sir. When I work in customer service, and I actually have five years of experience working in customer service, I have faced a lot of difficult situations with customers.

• One time, when I was working in a coffee shop. One customer had come to me and shouted to my face, “I told you to give me a coffee with no sugar, so why did you give me this one, full of sugar inside”
• At that time, I was a little bit worried because it was my first job, and I didn’t want to lose that kind of job. I try my best to calm my-self down and smile with my customer and I told him that ” Sorry sir, can you give me back your coffee, and after one or two minutes, I can give back a coffee back to you directly”
• And it was lucky for me that he agreed with me. And after 1 or 2 minutes, I brought the coffee to his table and immediately with a sorry I told him ” sorry sir, it’s our mistake and I really sorry for this inconvenience”
• The customer told me, ”That time I was like angry with you for no reason. It’s not your fault. Sorry, you, too.”
• And I told him, “Yes, sir. It’s my pleasure to be here and to serve you. You don’t have to worry about that one any more.”

After that kind of situation, I realized that keeping your emotions in a good mood is really important to work in customer service, and trying your best to give the best solution in the shortest time that you have is the key to being successful in customer service. Thank you, sir!

10. If you had a conflict at work with your team leader, what would you do?

Thank you for your question, sir. Actually, when I work with a lot of people, especially when I work in customer service, I have a lot of team leaders. Most of them are really nice, but there were misunderstandings between me and my team leader. And I think the key to solving the problem is to respect each other. He has his own reason, but I also have another reason. I think that we have to work together, stay at the table, talk about the problem, and have a solution. And keeping yourself calm to listen to your team leader is the thing that you should do in that kind of situation.

11. What skills from your previous job can help you with your new role as a flight attendant?

Thank you for your question, sir. I have been learning a lot of skills in my last job, but most of the important skills are that I know how to solve the problems of customers. And whenever, customers have problems, they will be really angry with you. The first thing that you have to do to calm them down is, first of all, smile with them. The second thing that you do is ask them what happened to them. After that, you will have time, but you need to do it as fast as possible. With my problem-solving skills, I’ve been doing really well not only in my last job but also in my life, which will help me become a flight attendant for your company in the future.

12. What was your job? What do you learn from that job?

Yes, sir, my last job was also cabin crew, but it was different in that I was not working on the airplane but on the cruise ship. And because two of those jobs are more or less similar to each other, I have been learning a lot of things, but one of the most important skills that I have learned and that is really important to me is knowing how to smile with the customers. And when we smile with the customers, we can reduce a lot of things. You can make the customers comfortable, you can make them less angry, and that’s a time for you to solve their problems. I think that it’s not only solving problems but also improving your appearance to be really beautiful and really professional. And I think that it will help me become a flight attendant for your company in the future.

13. Why do you want to change your job?

Yes, sir, because I wanted to become a flight attendant a long time ago, and I realized that being a flight attendant means that you have to know how to work in customer service. And I took time to gain my experience for that one, and today, after working in customer service for 5 years and learning a lot of skills, I believe and feel really confident that I will be suitable to become a cabin crew member.

14. What is the thing that you are proud of yourself?

Thank you, sir. When you ask me about this one, I always think about my smile. I can smile with other people, and I can smile as long as possible, and I believe that it is a really good skill for you to work in customer service.

15. How have you learned English? Which skills do you think that you have to improve?

I have been learning English for more than 10 years. And I think one of the most important skills that I need to improve in the future is active listening. Active listening is much more like listening skills in English, but it’s the next level for that one. It means that you can understand other people, you really, really understand it, and you will try your best to follow it so that you can improve it in the future. I think that being a flight attendant means that you have to have active listening skills not only for your customers but also for your co-workers, especially your team leader, so you can be much better.

16. What is your plan for the next 5 years?

23. Tell me about the difference between VNA and VJ?

Yes, sir. I have a lot of information about VNA but I think that they are 4 star-services airline and they are really traditional. But as the way I consider my-self that I’m young and dynamic. And I think that working in young and dynamic working environment as VJ Air will be the best choice for me. And that the reason why I’m here. Thank you !

24. You look so beautiful – Can you clean the toilet? / Why you don’t want to become a model but a cabin crew?

Thank you for your compliment sir, actually I help my mom to clean the toilet every weekend so learning toilet is not a big problem for me. And yes, I do not want to become a model because I have a love with customer service, I always want to make my customer feel happy. 26. Is there any time that you got distraction at work?

Yes, sir. During my working time in customer service for 5 years, there was a time that I feel really tired because that I got sick. I had to ask to my manager and my co-worker to change my position to replace me. And after resting about 30 minutes, I felt better and I came back to my work immediately. After that kind of situation, I realize that my health is really important when I want to work. That is also the reason why I usually go to gym, eat lean, have diet so that I have a good health to become a good staff for customer service.

27. Have you ever used our services? What do they think about it?

Yes, sir. Whenever I want to travel to any where, my 1st thought about airlines is VJ Air. I really like your company because that the cabin crew is really beautiful. The services – how can I say it – It really great, the price is really affordable. And that the reason why I always want to use VJ Air. Yes, sir. Before, my communication skills in English is not really good. And that’s the reason why, I have been trying my-self a lot. There more motivation that I want to become a cabin crew. Communication skills in English is really important for being a cabin crew so I have been trying my best and now my communication is much more become better. Yes, I like a lot of thing when I can become a flight attendant like travelling, meeting other people and having a lot of chances to know more about other people culture. And the thing that I did not like when I become a cabin crew is not have enough time with my family. But I think that it’s not really important that it’s not a matter for me because that with modern technologies now like Zalo, Facebook or even Face time, I can call, I can have video chat with my mom. my dad, my friends, whenever I want to, so I think that it’s not a big problem for me, sir.

30. Who will you call to if you pass this interview?

Yes, sir, when you ask me about that question it makes me remind the time when I was a cashier in a coffee shop and a customer came to me . He was really angry and he told me: ‘”I told you to give me a sugar-free coffee but why did you give me a cup of coffee with a full sugar of inside. At that time, that was my first job and I felt very worried. I don’t know what should I do and what should I tell him. After one second, I find my best way to calm myself down, I smiled to him and tell him: ” I’m sorry for this inconvenience but can you please give me your coffee back and i will bring you a new one in one or two minutes and I will bring it directly to your table. Is it ok, sir? An this was really lucky that the customer felt much more calm down and when I gave him a new coffee, he smiled to me and told me that this is not really your fault. After that kind of situaton, I realized that how to control the emotions is very important in customer service. Yes sir. I have worked many jobs in customer service before and especially in the Holiday time like Christmas, New Year or even in Tet Holiday. Yes sir, I learn English in many ways like listening to music, watching TV and especially I use my time reading books. Yes sir. I can tell you that before I am a person who is really shy and unconfident but when I work in customer service, this job changed me a lot. Yes sir. Whenever I want to go to anywhere I usually use Vietjet Air service. I feel it very professional not only the service is really good, perfect, the cabin crew there is professional, beautiful and take care of me very carefully. About the delay case, there was a time that I got a delay, that was about 20 minutes only. From the beginning, I feel a little bit disappointed, a little bit upset. But when I realized that this was not a fault from the company, it was about the weather. The weather of that time was really bad and unsafe for me to fly. But when I realized that, I know that Vietjet Air is really good and they always try their best to take care and keep their passengers safe all the time. And about that delay case, it is not a big problem for me sir. Thank you!

19. Do you know about VNA or BB or JS? Can you tell me the difference between VJ and these airlines?

Yes sir. I can tell you that those airlines , they are really famous and the biggest difference between Vietjet Air and the rest of them is the environment. The environment f Vietjet Air is young, dynamic, professional and international. I think that that kind of environment s the best choice for me to develop myself and show my ability. And I can tell you that I want to become a cabin crew of Vietjet Air. Thank you!

20. Does your mother clean the toilet for you?

Yes sir. No. I usually help my mom to clean the toilet every weekend. And actually I can  lot of things in my house like cooking, cleaning and most of the usual thing. So, I think that cleaning the toilet is not a problem for me sir.

Yes sir. Actually that I have girlfriend now and I have a conversation with her before I want to become a cabin crew. And it is really a surprise for me that because she was always by my side and. Yes sir. In the next three years, I would like to enrich my knowledge. I really want to become a good cabin crew of your company. But my finbal destination is I want to become a purser. Yes sir. The thing that I like the most when I become a cabin crew is the challenge. I think that this job really has a lot of challenges. Being a cabin crew is not easy but I am ready to face it. When I overcome those things I will become really really confident. But the thing I dislike when I become a cabin crew is I think that I don’t have enough time for myself and for my family. So I will manage my time, use my day-0ff and resting time perfectly to use it, to spend it for my family and myself. Thank you!

Yes sir. The strength of me is that I am always a person who have full of energy and not only that I can transfer the energy to other people: my customers, my co-workers.
